This is cute design, but the squares get a little tedious after a while. I much prefer the other study guide Shannon Foster has created called "Book of Mormon Study guide: Diagrams, Doodles, & Insights"...it has a better variety of study prompts and diagrams besides just page after page of squares to fill in. I give it four stars because there are some other helpful study helps included like page titles (a list of possible titles for each PAGE of the Book of Mormon), progress tracking chart, study tips, explanatory diagrams, etc...

You get 4 chapters per page, and for each chapter there is a space to doodle (or write) an important lesson or theme from the chapter, and a place to write the reference to your favorite scripture from the chapter. Shannon Foster has really done her studying, and has a great way of making scripture study fun and interesting. There is a reading chart to mark your progress at the front of the book, and throughout the book there are page illustrations that help explain important themes, lessons, or stories from the Book of Mormon. The book is in full color, and goes all the way through to the end of the Book of Mormon. She has also taken the time to give page headings for each page in the Book of Mormon so you can mark your book for quick and easy descriptions. I really like that feature, so when I'm flipping through and I land on a page, I can tell what the page is about quickly without having to search for the chapter heading.
