But let us keep in mind that books are very helpful. This one for example is very useful in helping out teenagers. When we are young (or when we were younger), we often forget how we act and be rash in our decisions in which this reacting before thinking actions lead to relationships being broken or having a dent. It may be hard to understand things when we are hotheaded most times and this book gave an excellent guide on how to be a better teenager or person in general.Your relationship with your parents, especially your mother, will be strained once you enter a quite rebellious phase in your teenage life. Taking note of your actions can be very helpful and the author pointed out what things to consider and what to watch out for. In the same sense, your siblings will also be affected one way or another. It's a good book for teenagers and all, not really useful for me, but it's nice being reminded of some things when you get old. The classic pick your battles is an excellent lesson to always remember. Another highlight of the book is about ending toxic friendships. This would be another hard part of your teenage life that you have to get over with. It's a good read and captures the teen market very well.

OMG My Mother details ways to get along well with others by cutting through the frustration not only young people, but many adults, face when they find themselves in trying, difficult circumstances. It covers specific needs for teens, such as how to get along with parents and siblings. It also gives tips for entering the world of dating, including the do’s and don’ts of encroaching on someone else’s boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend. The advice on developing friendships and how we know when to trust people can apply to people of any age. The book also tells the reader how to handle a life-changing situation—in this instance divorce, but the encouragement and tips for going forward could apply to other situations as well. The recommendations center around something today’s world desperately needs—respect for others and the ability to treat others the way you want to be treated. I highly recommend this book.

It made me recall the relationship and the journey I had with my mom. And at this point, I find myself actually missing it. I also felt the envy of other moms even I am a daddy out there who have teen aged daughters, because I have boys. Not that I am not happy, I am. But as I keep on reading, it is indeed different to have a daughter. The love between a Mother and a Daughter is eternal, it is something that will bind them forever. And this book has given so many tips on how Moms can help their daughters handle life and all the things that come with it. Amazing!
