His past was dark, his regrets were many, but their connection was preordained. Each conversation and shared confidence shed light on the fact these two souls have been orbiting around each other for years, even though they’d only recently met.Trouble had a way of finding her, as though knowing instinctively that she’d be the one to right all wrongs. When trouble comes knocking on her door, secrets are exposed and questions that have long gone unanswered are revealed.Dominique did an excellent job with this story, including enough of the old that this reader was able to follow along quite clearly, even though this is the first book I’ve read in the series. The story moves along at a moderate pace, weaving a gentle hand of spirituality between its lines. The characters were well-developed and individually distinctive. This was an enjoyable read with a cliffhanger end.
