Calvin and Tina Mitchell are the typical African American family. Married young with several children. Tina a stay at home mom and Calvin a hard working business man. What do you when you are not getting what you need from the one who promised to love you and forsake all others? Would you be able to get over the betrayal?Concealed Betrayal is the story of Tina and Calvin. Calvin and Tina is a married couple of twenty years that experience trials and tribulations, but have been able to remain faithful and true to each other despite opposition from outside forces. Calvin then loses his mother to her battle with cancer. When Calvin loses his mother, he loses himself and sinks into a deep depression. As his wife, Tina, steps up and handles the house but no without feelings of loneliness and hurt. Calvin goes into himself and seems to not be paying attention to his family or anything.Other family dynamics are coming into play as well. Tina and Calvin’s family is falling apart with their teenage daughter spiraling out of control. Tina seeks solace in the arms of another and this opens a can of worms that cannot be closed. This is when the betrayal comes into play and you won’t believe the consequences of Tina’s actions.This story was an enjoyable read but it took a moment to get to what was going on. It was reality based and that works well but there were some editing issues that were simple mistakes that took away from the story.Three stars*Review Copy Provided By Author*

This one had me in a shock state as I read this book and didn't stop until I was done with it. I had a No she didn't moment through out this one. The lies, deceit, the blame game attach to the betrayal was enough to make me want to be written in to handle Ms Tina and Mr Vernell. I was amaze at what one did to justify the right of there wrong doing. Just amazing how the vows were not being honor. The question's that I have and hope will be answer in the next is WHY? did the one marriage end and WHY? did the other step out way before the events that would take place with the death of a love one. The one marriage ending didn't give much detail to the ending of it.It was Never address nor share with the spouse as to the why they wanted out. I hope theses questions are answer in the next one. NOW the only issue I really had was that one of the wrong doers got off easy. There was so many ways to end this one but the happily ever after Nah. But, I don't know there a line that is spoken at the ending that makes me go Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Is everything really okay or is there more disruption in store? Calvin reply is what makes me wonder. You will just have to one click it to see what I mean.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. An Emotional Ride! By Kiesha Concealed Betrayal is the story of Calvin and Tina who are a Married African American couple with a family. I like this story because its tangible. It shows how a marriage and a family can fall apart when there is no communication between the spouses. Calvin falls into a deep depression when his mother passed away. His depression caused him to neglect his fatherly and spousal duties. Tina felt alone and did what she had to do for herself and her family. I can see this book as a movie . It sort of reminds me of a Tyler Perry film because of the characters. And the Christian values that are present throughout the story. its written well. The characters and scenes are real. . I love how the story shows the support of the community. The story Is intriguing, threes enough drama to keep the pages turning. The book took me on an emotional ride. When I thought something was going to happen, the total opposite happened. I’m looking forward to reading the next b book in the series. If you’re looking for a nice quick read that will jerk your emotions. This book is for you!
