Seeing that this was my first urban book it made me a bit hesitant. I picked it up because I was taking a flight to Australia and knowing it would be a really long flight I thought I would read something that I would usually never pick up. I am strictly Tom Clancy or Steven King reader and I thought it would be a trip to try something totally outside the box. Being a baby boomer and a white male this book was totally out of character.Once I began reading it all I had in my mind was that I was going to laugh at the errors and writing style. I was totally wrong, the writing was superb and the plot kept my attention to the last page. I might not have been a fan of drama and all those shenanigans before but I surely am now.If you are into the genre you will love it and even if you aren't it is still an overall good read.
