Here's a concise guide that simply explains how to get the most bang from your Prime bucks..Speaking of bargains, do you enjoy FREE and discounted Kindle books? Then visit KindleBuffet.com, where you'll find a daily list of temporarily free and bargain-priced Kindle books. Dozens of daily deals on books by your favorite authors..Now, about Prime: Way back in 2005, I received an email from Amazon.com announcing a new program called "Prime." It was a simple proposition: If I paid $79 a year for the annual membership, I'd get free two-day shipping on most of my orders. Plus, I could upgrade to overnight shipping at a huge discount--just a few dollars perorder..I'm plenty thrifty, but Amazon didn't need to twist my arm before I coughed up my $79 fee for a Prime membership. It was a no-brainer. Iorder something from Amazon at least once or twice a week--books, groceries, electronic gadgets (the list has grown every year). So I didn't need to scribble the numbers on the back of an envelope to see that my annual Prime membership would pay for itself within a few months. Easily!.In the decade since then, Amazon has increased the Prime membershipfee just $20. Meanwhile, the company has stacked up more and more benefits to Prime, much beyond the special shipping deals that attracted me at the start:
- Free on-demand streaming of movies and TV shows.
- The service, called Amazon Instant Video, is similar to Netflix's online video service. And while Amazon's video store doesn't yet match Netflix's selection, Amazon is gaining rapidly.
- Free monthly rentals of popular Kindle ebooks, thanks to the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. Anyone with a Kindle device and a Prime
- membership qualifies for the freebies, up to one book per month, with no due date.
- Free streaming music, a service like the popular Pandora or Spotify Internet music services.
- Free same-day delivery for certain orders.

It allowed me to skip directly to the parts I was interested in. That's where I got the bad news: I was surprised to learn that the Kindle owner Lending Library only allows one free book per month! On Amazon, this limitation is not stated upfront. Of course, Amazon is not "hiding" that fact, but it's definitely not highlighted. You would not know it if you just perused their advertisements. This is a huge limitation, and I probably would not have bought my Kindle. Thanks for a well-written introduction to the value of Amazon Prime and Lending Library. Next time, I'll read first, order later!√ Recommend!

By Bill Anderson Length: 26 pages.UPDATE: This booklet explains in a quick, easy-to-read style, what Amazon Prime is; how to use it most effectively, and shows how Amazon customers can shop til they drop while savings oodles of cash.Let me be quite clear. This is indeed very well written, edited, and organized. Further, I rarely consider price in a review, since most books I purchase, I gain far more value than the cost. This booklet, though, of just 26 pages, is priced rather high. But, then again, I was aware of the price per page before I bought it, so the fault is mine, not the writer's.I did gain some value from the content. Also, I would rather get all the necessary content from 26 pages of meat, than from 26 pages of meat interspersed with fluffy fat.Bottom line? Since this is the only book on the topic, it is a recommended read until and unless another book comes along at a lower price. As it is, because of the price, even though it is well-written, well-edited and does achieve its goal, at $5.99 I can rate it no higher than three stars. At $2.99 it is four stars. At $1.99 or less, it is five stars.Oh, I hasten to add, I have bought, and enjoyed, other books from this writer. I will continue to buy his books, since he is indeed a very clear, concise and east to read author.

This very short booklet sure solved that problem and took me into areas I didn't know existed like .pantry and .buffet. If you're a novice this is the booklet for you and I suspect even the 'experienced' may find some benefits that they were unaware of.
