Moving Foward by Stephanie Ike Review By Nikki Ottitochukwu Aduba Moving forward the book is a Biblical teaching written by Stephanie Ike that allows you to step out of stagnancy and move into purpose.I believe that it is a definite and must read for everyone.I absolutely loved this book.From the moment I began reading Moving Forward I was unable to put the book down until I read the last page the next morning .It is filled with teachings on how to renew your faith and provided continuous divine confirmation, and understanding on the power we have over our purpose. It not only equips you with each and every tool needed to discover your purpose but it also warns you of the stumbling blocks you may face along the road and then quietly guides you all the way to the finish line.Moving forward taught me to abandon the role of victim completely and to put on the full Armour of God and step into victorious. Each teaching in Moving Forward is richly soaked with just the right amount of scripture to support it and it assist with the understanding of each lesson. The key is knowing the worth and how to get the most bang for your buck.Allure Stevens is a very interesting 18-year-old girl. She is beautiful girl with no lack of friends but like some, she has secrets. Once her secret is discovered by her father, Allure's life is set into fast forward! While being free to explore new adventures, some of those adventures were better left where they were. It doesn't take long to realize that everything that glitters ain't gold.The Power of The P is a book about life's choices and how to deal with the decisions that you have made. It shows you that actions have consequences and you have to deal with them or they will continue to be there waiting for you. The cast of characters are interesting because of the fact that they all have the same desires but seem to lack the correct motivation to get the desires results. This book has adult situations in it and it is not for the light-hearted, not a bad book if you can handle it. Walker has taken everyday life situations and created a book to keep you reading with your mouth wide open. I look forward to reading more from Walker in the future.

However, This Is Only My Opinion And I Wish You Nothing But Success. But For Me It Was All Over The Place With Some Many Different Characters. I Was Confused Half Of The Time And Had To Go Back And Fourth. However I Enjoyed Some Of The Story Lines. I Just Thought It Would Be More Focused On Allure's Father Stack And Her Mother. I Would Have Like To See What Happen With Them After They Left Town. Then Charity And Serenity Left On The Run But Nothing Happen With That After The Man Took The Baby. I'm Glad That Charity And Serenity Are Going To Work On Their Relationship. I Hate My Girl Allure Was Killed, I Think She Played A Important Role In The Second Book To Come. The title really doesn't match the story. It left unanswered questions about Allure parents. The characters meshed well at first in the beginning but after that the story just took off in quite a few different directions. You would think that what Sin did for a living she would of gotten to Kyle for being trifling. Serenity and Charity relationship didn't seem authentic enough. It was too much happening at one time. I gave the Author 3 star's for effort because the story has some potential.

Jayla is just a little to head strong to realize when someone wants to help, even if they don't ask first. Ian is used to being in control and fixing things. Communication is very important. I love that things came together in the end.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Adequate but Free elsewhere By Marvin C. Clapp I thoroughly enjoy Vachel Lindsay's poetry. The meter is reminisant of Edgar Allen Poe's verse. The subject matter is that of turn of the century (18th -19th) century. The mores and folkways of the United States were not the same as they are now. Lindsay gives you a cutting edge view of a mid-West American of that period.There is no interactive Table of Contents. That means that you must trudge through the book from front to back or you must hunt-and-peck for pearls.I frequently buy a book for a dollar on Amazon because it includes something like an interactive Table of Contents which the free version from other sources does not. This version on Amazon does not have anything that other independently produced versions have. Therefore I do not recommend paying money for it here. Currently this collection of poems is free on Amazon. By all means, get it here. If Amazon starts to charge for it, look a little further.

Hardway Vachel Lindsay's poetry has always evoked a memory of the first two decades of the twentieth century before WWI wrecked civilisation as it was then known. Imagine a poet who wrote poetry with the intention of it being set to music rather than just being read. Lindsay was a truly unique individual with an amazing talent that is under-appreciated. There is no finer poetry set to music than "Gen. William Booth Enters into Heaven, in the Charles Ives composition performed by the Gregg Smith Singers. My grandmother (b. 1900 once saw Lindsay perform, and I think it was the highlight of her life. She still recalled his performance clearly the summer before she died at age 92. The Gregg Smith LP of Ives' choral music which included "Booth" was the only LP she owned that wasn't by the Carter Family or Flatt & Scruggs. That's a high recommendation for Lindsay.

54 of 55 people found the following review helpful. NOT a GUIDE! Journal only!!! If you have a printer, save your money. By Roob I bought this for my wife, as she intends to do the Proverbs study this month. When we received the book, it is simply a few pages describing the SOAK and color coding methods (both available for free on the GMG blog). The rest of the pages simply have a single printed scripture facing a page that has CHAPTER 1 and the SOAK headings. That's it, for the entire book. There is no guide, no other text, no study, etc. I suppose the word "JOURNAL' in the title is somewhat descriptive, but it also seems as though more than just a few people thought they would receive more than pages and information that are easily printed out from the blog. Basically, what you are paying for is the fact that you have a bound book in which to take notes that has a nice picture on the front with a popular font. If you don't like to take notes in a notebook, or if you like to have the bound books to take notes in, this might be worth the purchase, but if you are looking for a guide, insight into the scripture from the author, or anything aside from blank SOAK bullet points, you're best just using what you have at home.

Awesome author but journal has little of her By BeckyW I LOVE this author- her books, her FB page and blog, her videos- but was a little disappointed in this journal because it doesn't have any text from her. She has amazing insights and communicates His message so well and in a way that women today can relate to, but none of that was here, except her SOAK method but those of us following her bible study (free on her FB and website) have been using that for months already. This workbook is simply an extract from each Proverb on the left hand page and the letters SOAK (with space for you to write) on the right. I'm happy to support her ministry, so won't be returning, but was a bit disappointed in the product.**update: I've found the blank space on the left hand page to be great for bible doodling after you've done your journaling**

I know it was to go along with an online Bible Study group, but I really anticipated more content beyond a verse and a page to record a SOAK for that chapter. I was hoping to find a least a minimal amount of study notes. Beyond that, every page is identical with really no content at all. Being on a very limited budget, I bought this in hopes it would prove to be a valuable tool. Unfortunately, I discovered it is something I could have done on my own in a notebook, as I have already been doing that method through my Sunday School class. While there are images of the inside of the book, there were really only 2 pages of content shown. And like someone else said, there weren't any other reviews describing the content at the time I purchased, and I have seen other journals that do contain some study information. I will still use it, but a heads up for others who may or may not be interested in something this basic.
