But when a disguised Brock sneaks back into Cedar Glen, he finds the curse still very much in effect. He also bumps into Faith, who he aches for just as much now as the day he left. Coming back was a horrible idea. Winston, his foul-tempered fairy friend, told him so. But did Brock listen? Noooo. He's listening to his heart and his libido, and both are begging for one more moment in Faith's arms. So what if she doesn't even know it's really him? And one of his sons hates him? 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Seemed Rushed By ShaSeli Gotta Have Faith is the third installment in the Wolf Mates Series by Dakota Cassidy. This was a short read that I did not enjoy as much as the first two installments in the series. It seemed that Ms. Cassidy knew Faith deserved her own story and wanted to bring Brock back, by was in a rush to do so. It was a cute story but, there are too many gaps in explanation that I could not reconcile. I hope there are more books in this series that are more like the first book and less like this third one.

It was a great short read but it felt crammed. I felt like the entire revelation of Brock being Eli and were he's been in the past five years was all summed up in one chapter, the rest was him pretending to be Eli. This should of been a longer read, there was just so much going on for 70 pages. I'm not sure if there will be a book 4 but I will still totally read it.

An Action-Packed BWWM Billionaire Romance

This is a full-length novel with no cliffhangers Dorian Kingston is every girl's dream. Well built, wealthy, British, in charge of himself and all the people around him, too. Of course, he's also being targeted by a crime syndicate hell bent on collecting on an old debt and getting Dorian's father's money or killing him in the process. Probably both. Andrea Samuel has never even heard of Dorian Kingston, but when his former security team proves to be untrustworthy, her brother Benjamin is put in charge of forming an all new team for the wealthy man. He has to live on the grounds of Dorians' absurdly large manor house, and his one request is that his sister be able to live with him, keeping her safe from their emotionally abusive alcoholic mother. Ben and Dorian have a professional relationship, but Andrea is taken with him instantly. He's charming, funny, and an amazing cook, and in between attempts on his life, they manage to start something hot and heavy. Neither of them are used to things like this and it’s been ages since either of them has tried to be in a relationship. Not to mention it's dangerous when Dorian has so much to lose, but she can't stay away, no matter how dangerous it gets. This BWWM Billionaire Romance has action, passion and romance around every turn. Get your copy today by clicking “Buy Now!”... CAUTION: Includes hot interracial sex scenes! 18 or older.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. I could barely catch my breath on this one By Roxie Wow, what a ride this book took me on. It started out at a pace that captured me from the very beginning. In the closing I just wanted more. I did not want the story to the end. I am looking forward to more of their story. Each line displayed itself as an aphrodisiac awaiting for the next move. My heart and mind reeled just thinking of what was going to happen. The anticipation of the intimate moments were heightened by the apparent danger. Who ever said that life is boring has never encountered the life of Dorian. Take this roller coaster ride but hold on because it will take you places where it will be hard to catch your breath. Enjoy!!!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. 4 Stars ! By Stacee Salinas I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review. I love all of Mrs. Grenier's books. In this book we find A budding relationship between Dorian and Andrea. I like that it didn't start on conventional grounds like most romance stories. Dorian is a businessman that has a target on his back. In walk Andrea, who happens to be the sister of his new head of security. They strike up a somewhat friendship, but get into arguments most of the time. Dorian grew up wealthy and doesn't necessarily understand why some things are the way they are. So he ends up offending her most of the time.I love the overall story itself, but I had a hard time liking the hero in this one. I found Dorian a bit naive about a few things and his behavior was indicative of a pouting child. I also didn't like how he kept telling himself that he wanted to keep Andrea safe, but then he was the one putting her in danger. Don't get me wrong, The book was great. However, I wish there was more depth and growth to Dorian's character.Despite that, I love the relationship between Dorian, Carlos, and Anita, and how they added Ben and Andrea into the mix almost instantly. Overall, this is still a book I highly recommend reading !

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. wow By hazel ann What a read. Short sweet and to the point. I have been reading miss grenier since the boss baby and I haven't look back since. This simple missal allows a young child to follow the prayers and actions of the holy Mass step by step. The prayers and colorful illustrations show a boy and a girl at Mass, what they say and what they do, as well as the words and actions of the priest.

The mystery of Jesus, who died on the cross, rose from the dead, and opened the way to Heaven for us, is the essence of the holy Mass, which a child can enter into little by little with the help of this charming book. Color illustrations throughout.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Should and could have been better By Stuart Dunn A Missal for Little Ones is a little book designed for little hands. The book is a hardcover with a dust jacket, which means that the book is carefully crafted and designed to last. The book attempts to make the Mass as approachable as possible for young readers. The title of each section tells the child what is going on in the Mass, and the text in the chapter contains a portion of the specific prayer or a summary of what is occurring at the specific time in Mass. In the very middle of the book is a section on the Apostles' Creed. Unfortunately, it is only snippets of the Creed, which is my biggest complaint with this book. The Creed is a vital part of the Catholic faith, and the snippets in the book omit key parts, like Jesus being conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Incarnation is one of the great mysteries of the Faith and should not be omitted in my opinion. The book closes with prayers for children to learn and instructing your children in the method of spontaneous prayer. Overall this was a good book, but it could have been better. It is recommended for ages 3+, but if that is the case there should be even fewer words. Also, for that age, it should probably be in the format of a board book. I guess what I am saying is that I feel like there should be two different books, one for ages 3 to 5, and one for ages 5 and up.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. It would be better to have the full prayers of the Mass included By Peter A Heasley It would be better to have the full prayers of the Mass included, along with the explanations. Instead, we get some dumbed-down paraphrasing. Also, the illustrations show a number of people with their arms crossed instead of hands folded in prayer. This comes out of certain ecclesial movements and is not generally suggested for prayer in church.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. The perfect length for my daughter By Melissa M. The perfect length for my daughter. She is a developing reader so a missal with all of the language would overwhelm her right now. This missal helps her follow along with the main parts of the Mass and she is able to read 90% of the content. A cute introduction to the Mass. A complete Missal would be better after First Communion unless your child is an advanced reader.

Black Atlas presents definitive new approaches to black geography. It focuses attention on the dynamic relationship between place and African American literature during the long nineteenth century, a volatile epoch of national expansion that gave rise to the Civil War, Reconstruction, pan-Americanism, and the black novel. Judith Madera argues that spatial reconfiguration was a critical concern for the era's black writers, and she also demonstrates how the possibility for new modes of representation could be found in the radical redistricting of space. Madera reveals how crucial geography was to the genre-bending works of writers such as William Wells Brown, Martin Delany, James Beckwourth, Pauline Hopkins, Charles Chesnutt, and Alice Dunbar-Nelson. These authors intervened in major nineteenth-century debates about free soil, regional production, Indian deterritorialization, internal diasporas, pan–American expansionism, and hemispheric circuitry. Black geographies stood in for what was at stake in negotiating a shared world.

Black Atlas: Geography and Flow in Nineteenth-Century African American Literature, by Judith Madera

Review "In Black Atlas Judith Madera shows how the shifting territory comprising the nation and the even more fluid relation of African Americans to that evolving terrain enabled the writing of such key figures such as Martin Delany, William Wells Brown, and Pauline Hopkins. In so doing, Madera provides an important contribution to African American literary criticism; the expanding corpus of material focused on territoriality, transnationalism, and empire; and our understanding of the rise of the novel in the Americas." (Caroline Levander, author of Where is American Literature?)"Where other scholars have adopted hemispheric or black Atlantic approaches to the works of nineteenth-century African American writers, Judith Madera develops an intranational framework. She aims to 'deconstruct national terrain,' and her success in doing so is what makes her discussion of space and geography in relation to black literature so distinctive. Arguing that 'black literary citizenship emerges in relation to boundaries,' Madera makes a bold and original contribution to our understanding of African American literature." (Michelle Stephens, author of Skin Acts: Race, Psychoanalysis, and the Black Male Performer)"What an ambitious and challenging project Judith Madera has constructed! Black Atlas offers a brilliant theoretical template, imaginatively and intellectually stunning. This book is just what the world of literary and cultural concerns needs as a tonic re-placement and re-imagining." (Houston A. Baker, Jr., author of Blues, Ideology, and Afro-American Literature: A Vernacular Theory)

About the Author Judith Madera is Associate Professor of English and Environmental Studies at Wake Forest University.

Little More Work and Would have Been an Excellent Book By Rachel Spencer This was a decent book especially more towards the middle and end, seems like the author really got into it. The first few chapters were really really fast and undeveloped. In the beginning she just scrated the surface of the girls' childhood then when she started getting into the book could have been much more development in the relationship between Malik and Roxanne, however when the author did start actually describing dates I really like it, I really reshe started writing each of the character's perspective I wish the whole book had been written like that. I really like the relationship between Audrey and Roxanne.

This is the PERFECT little "break" as I anxiously await the 2nd installment to the Disaster Series. I enjoyed reading this book and I pray she writes a sequel from the little sister's perspective. I LOVE a story with a powerhouse, empire building black couple. I loved how certain things are unpredictable (won't go into detail...no need for spoilers). GREAT READ. Christie again does not fail to disappoint!

The continuous development of the characters from the previous two books is an ode to the amazing creative process By Jessica Martin I am a huge fan of the series. I read this book in about 2 days total. I didn't stop to put it down. It's suspenseful and leaves you wanting more and more. The continuous development of the characters from the previous two books is an ode to the amazing creative process. I love the cliffhangers. This author honestly keeps you engaged and angry at the same time! Thoroughly engaged because you want to avenge certain characters yourself. Angry because you WANT MORE! LOL!I could go on and on about this book. I'm just very pleased that this series, although in the urban genre, is far from the typical story you'd read.Thank you very much Ms. Ward!

It's actually my favorite so far. Full of drama and vengeful schemes. I'm curious to see what Rianne does to Valencia to avenge her cousin, Candace. I want to know if Janine Blakely is ever found by Dakila and Rianne as well. I'm hoping Preston suffers some type of karma because he's ruthless! I'm looking forward to part four!
