William Long wrote this book after his experiences of helping his family care for his mum.As well as being a published author William is a speaker on carer issues. He enjoys writing, reading, sports and travel. He is a keen runner and cyclist. He lives in Bishop's Stortford and is a manager in the public sector.

It is an easy read and I believe will help anyone improve their mindset to change many aspects of life for the better ( mind, body, spirit & emotions). I have been working in areas of self development and empowerment for many years and this book validated much of what I had already been putting into practice. I thoroughly recommend this book for anyone wishing to look at life from a different perspective and take action on making their life and thus the lives of others better.

It 's the right reading for someone is looking for the 'inner peace' you need when life gets a bit tough. So as we all face difficult moments I think is a good reading for everybody (not only for carers). Its' a practical guide full of tips and sometime funny examples from the author's life. It made me smile and laugh on my own reading it.Would be nice to see it discussed at school with the young men and women.

A Real Gift for Carers By Derek Kemp A Gift for Carers is one of those must read books if you are having to care for someone and are looking for some support and advice. Having had to care for an elderly Mother-in-law and Sister-in-law I can assure you that the information the author shares is extremely helpful to anyone looking to get their life back and move on.
