From the Author Rhonda's Revenge is in a way the first story I have ever written; my first attempt at a 'novel'. I was studying English at university and loving it. Reading so many different books each week persuaded me that I too wanted to be a writer.I was in my second year of university when this story was born. I wrote it, deciding that one day, I would publish it - and here we are! Whilst studying English, one of my modules was African American women's fiction, which inspired me to write this story.

Frankly, I think that betrayal in a marriage is a pretty serious crime and I am speaking from experience. Author Lola Allen has written what is probably quite a few women's fantasy come true when it comes to getting back at a serial cheater. The story of Rhonda and her, now ex-husband, Joseph, who cheated on her multiple times while married. Her plan and system of revenge is quite amazing as he turns to her for advice and comfort while his life falls apart around him. Really great read with an amazing story line.

I really liked this formula and the storyline was really suspenseful and well written. The characters in this story are unique and multi-dimensional, and I was hooked reading this from the very start. The relationships involved are all very entertaining and intriguing to follow. Highly recommended.

Rhonda is a really fun character that captures the imagination of the reader and I couldn’t get enough of the story’s twists and turns. The relationships and situations are all interesting and very fun to read about. A great take on the genre. Well worth the read.
