I have been searching for something good to read for over a month now. It's been really hard with some of the books that are being published now, you really have to filter though a lot of junk to get to the good ones. I really enjoyed reading about this new world, with it's amazing characters. To me it reads like some of my favorite anime's. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good meaty read. Off to read the second book, I know I'll love it as well. Keep up the good work Mrs. Houston, you are becoming one of my favs. If this was made into an anime I would defiantly watch it.

When I finally started reading it, the characters seemed to come to life right in front of me. I could see the expressions in their eyes, feel the animosity. It's an excellent read. Can't wait for more work from Ms Houston!
