1. Mise en Place
If you’ve ever read my work, you know by now that I consider almost nothing random. If I’m cradling a question in my heart, to be shown the right direction I pay intense attention to the answers that come, no matter what delivery service God may use. License plates, billboards, songs on the radio, comments from strangers, all become grist for my own spiritual mill. So my ears perked up like a Labrador one time when a stately, white-haired Frenchman turned to me in the produce aisle of the grocery store and exclaimed, “Mise en place, it’s ALL about mise en place, n’est-ce pas? It’s the consummate key!” I nodded and thanked him, though I had no idea what the hell he was talking about. I made a note to check when I got home, but if you’re a cook, you may already know. I discovered mise en place is a French phrase for prepping all the ingredients for a meal: getting everything washed, chopped, and in order. Some people would even include cleaning and readying the kitchen. That way, when it’s time, you can cook with abandon. Well, I couldn’t think of a better message. I could feel in my bones that a big wave of new life was lurking right around the bend. So get ready! Clean out the closets, finish up loose ends, get rid of what needs to go. Create a vacuum for the New to fill. Release dead weight, old destructive habits, exhausting relationships. Pick a few items off the procrastination list and whisk them away. And if the Divine wants to make a delicious meal out of you, well, you’ll be prepared.Change me Divine Beloved into One who easily releases all that’s ready to go, making room for what wants to come. May I courageously release all that is outgrown and stagnant, preparing for the new. Let me move in harmony with Your natural cycles in every way.

There is something so magically resonant and viscerally healing about her first book that I wondered how she could match her debut work. But I've now learned that I shouldn't have doubted someone so clearly channeling The Divine! Change Me Prayers is filled with a whole new collection of fun and quirky stories related in Tosha's signature style. As with all her stories there are multiple deep and powerful lessons to be learned from each. And who doesn't love to have fun while they are enlightened to some of the deep truths of our human journey? In addition to the stories, Tosha elaborates on her signature Change Me Prayers, explaining how she uses them and providing many examples as well as guidance on how to craft and customize your own. There are few authors who I can say have so profoundly affected the way I lead my life and I am filled with gratitude that a friend introduced me to Tosha's work. Now I have a new book to share with my own loved ones, a book that I am confident can be as powerful in their lives as it has been in mine! Thank you Tosha!

Tosha Silver's experiences have yielded a great book and priceless prayers that I will be memorizing.I ordered this on Kindle and quickly learned that I needed the hardback version too. I will be living with this book for awhile, so I have a portable version and one that I can open at random and use my trusty, yellow highlighter. It's only been about 48 hours since I read the Kindle version and I'm lighter, sleep better and am completely content in the knowledge that All is Well. Thank you, Tosha Silver, for leading the way to full surrender!

Similarly to Outrageous Openness, it's filled with fun stories that illustrate how Tosha allows her life to be guided by a higher force, and asks for help as needed. The stories are shorter than in Outrageous Openness and end in a "Change Me Prayer" that is super short but extremely powerful! There's also a list of "Change Me Prayers" at the end of the book by subject so you can easily jump to whichever one you need in every situation. It is a book you can read every day and also a go-to book for whenever you feel stuck. Already love this book! Thank you, Tosha, for writing it!
