Jones This collection is best known for Miller's tongue-in-cheek response to all the quite serious arguments about how granting women the vote will spoil their delicate constitutions and proper place in the home. Rather than try to answer nonsense rationally, she wrote the essay on "Why men shouldn't vote.." pointing out that their manliness would be compromised by using anything other than fist fights and arguing to settle debates.This slim volume reaches its 100th anniversary in 1915, but you might find yourself shaking your head over the very funny yet very contemporary arguments about equal pay and equal rights.
